      Hi I have a 03 bMW mini cooper, and the aBS light stays on, and all the same as above no communication etc , I think the pump and circuit unit is at fault can you give me a rough quote please , I had the aA out but their computercould not communicate

    Hi I have a 2007 Mini Cooper r56 with ABS unit failure, module is p/n 3450 6786224
    The car has been plugged in and there is a complete failure of the abs pump. I have checked power to unit etc and all seems fine, is this something you could repair?

      We can definitely test & repair the Mini Cooper R56 ABS pumps. Sounds like the common No Comms (loss of communication) fault which we can fully test for. I’ve sent over an email with pricing and further repair information.

    My Daughter has been having problems with her 03 mini cooper , I have had the BC1 unit changed ( nightmare ) now the ABS , brakes lights and tyre pressure lights are on , is this a problem with the ABS pump ?

      It could be the ABS unit at fault but you will need to get it diagnosed and the fault codes read. It could be a simple coding issue.

    hi i have a 51 plate mini cooper its got an abs light on i took it to bmw and they told me it was the abs pump but they was going charge over 3000 to fix it so i then took it to my local garage and they have found it to be a faulty abs pump as there is no comunication on diagnostic equipment but all of the wiring has been tested and found to be ok. so they changed the pump and the light went out but it still wouldn t communicate then i drove it and it has came on again any help much appreciated

      Thanks for the enquiry,

      If the wiring is checking out OK and no breaks right up to the OBD port, make sure all grounds are good, battery voltage is good and the ABS pump fuse is also not blown. If all is good and the replacement ABS is a known good working unit then there is no logical reason for the communication to fail unless the diagnostic tester is faulty or not compatible to read the module on that vehicle.

    R56 Cooper D, recently had a DSC repair kit done at BMW now after steering lock light coming on say it needs a new ABS pump due to water ingress. I am in Ayrshire, what costs roughly if I brought it over to Falkirk
