The Bosch 8.0 ABS / ESP Modulator unit is much more complex than the earlier Bosch 5.3 and Bosch 5.7 ABS ECU’s. We have been successfully repairing these units for just over 5 years now and are able to fully test, repair and rebuild these units with a lifetime warranty.

Most commonly we’re seeing failed units come from Audi A6 / S6 Quattro (4F2 / 4F5) manufactured between 01/2005 – 06/2006 but the same failing part is fitted widely to a variety of vehicles including:

  • 01420 – Driving Dynamics Regulation High Pressure Switch Valve 1 N227 – Intermittent
  • 01418 – Driving Dynamics Regulation Switch Valve 1 N225 – Intermittent
  • ABS / ESP / ASR / TCS / DCS (Traction) Light On
  • Wheel Speed Sensor Faults
  • No Communication Fault

    I’m driving an Audi A6 C6 year 2005 with 2.4L V6 engine.
    I’m looking for Bosch 8.0 ABS / ESP Modulator unit for my car.
    Software part number is 4F0910517K. Hardware part number is 4F0614517K.
    SW version is 0090. HW version is 000.Coding is 21330. System is ESP 8.0 front H04.

    Hello, I’ve read thru your site. I scanned with VAGCOM tool and as I’m having fault code on my 2005 Audi 3.2L, A6: 01435 – Brake Pressure Sensor 1 (G201); 008 – Implausible Signal – Intermittent.

    Hi – I have an 05 Audi A6 3.0 TDI Quattro with the usual selection of ABS lights and errors + code 01420 – could you advise on repair cost for the ABS module. I assume we can remove only the solenoid pack / electronics part to avoid having to bleed brakes? I’m UK based.

    Hopefully you can help. I have a 2002 iveco 50c13, this has ABS & EBD , all works fine, and the traction control is fantastic, usefull to me as I go to farm sales,so muddy fields arent a problem.
    Now recently bought a 2006 iveco 35c14 as I wanted to try the three litre model as many say its more economical, got one with ABS & EBD expecting it to have traction control, but if it has it doesnt work, on the door frame says ABS8.
    can you tell me if this should have traction control, the EBD light does work on initial ignition check, then lights out even when wheels spin,where as on my 50c light willl flicker as traction is lost momentarily . the truck is on sorn as I am overhauling it before use,just passed MOT.
    If it has not got TC can I swap old type abs unit to gain this or is it something that needs to be ,activated in ECU as well ?
    Excuse all the questions I am on a very limited budget (“new” truck has over 524k on it!)
    Can I exchange module from one ABS to the other?

    Hi I have a 2007 Iveco Daily 4 It has aBS and eBD failure message in dash and abs light on as well as a brake wrning light on. There is also no Communication possible with diagnostic equipment. Please advise repair costs. Thank you
