We are able to completely remove the DPF system from any vehicle and reprogram the ECU to ensure the vehicle runs optimally without the DPF installed. It’s not impossible to do the DPF Removal correctly, we’re seeing at least 2-3 PPD engine cars coming into us daily for the DPF Removal and we’ve definitely mastered our techniques on these cars because this year alone we’ve done close to 1000 PPD engine DPF Removals and have a true 100% success rate on these cars – that’s something no other company can guarantee!
After our long awaited release of the Mazda 6 DPF removal we quickly became swamped & overwhelmed by the inquiries continuously flooding in. Since October 2010 we have successfully removed the DPF’s from over 850 Mazda 6’s and still going strong. Due to the increasing demand in this service, we’re seeing a growing number of companies nationwide popping up with DPF related company names offering a “DPF Removal Solution / Service” at incredibly cheap prices. We found most of these companies are charging between £149.00 – £399.00 for a “FULL DPF REMOVAL SERVICE” which would include having the DPF Software “deleted” and the filter completely removed from the exhaust system and in some cases replaced with a “straight-through” pipe.
There are many factors which will cause the failure of the DPF on the BMW 5 series but a major flaw in its design is that its mounted midway down the exhaust system. The DPF requires extremely high temperatures to burn off soot particles (temperatures can reach in excess of 700 C) and therefore the further down the exhaust the filter is mounted, the lower the temperature of the exhaust gases are before they reach the filter. This means that a regeneration (reburn) of the filter will be harder to achieve & maintain.
The Volkswagen (VW) Crafter DPF is just as problematic as the Diesel Particulate Filters fitted to the Mazda (Denso Group) cars. We are currently the only company in the whole of Europe capable of removing the DPF filter from the VW Crafter with a 100% success rate.
Removing the Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) from the Fiat 500 1.3 Diesel Multi-Jet is not something any tuner and company in the UK can currently accommodate, however, we have succeeded in the removal of the Fiat 500 DPF and are currently the only company in the UK able to offer this service successfully.
