The Saab model operates with the Bosch 8.0 ABS module, which is the latest addition in ABS / ESP pump technology but is a common failing part.

Typically, workshops will advise on purchasing a new replacement unit if the Bosch ABS pump unit fails. These units can only be purchased from the main dealer and can be costly. There is also an additional cost to programme the unit to get it up and running.
